| Preposterously good second album from this Newcastle-based trio. This is a bare-knuckle fist fight of an album, a mad stream of electro-pop yanked from underneath a pile of rusty rubble. "Troglodyte" is an incredible track, ceaselessly thumping and humping, the whole glorious mess pinned down by Alan Edge's manic growl. As the album bludgeons on the picture begins to widen, the colours begin to spread, and by the end of the whole sick-ride we are left reeling from this bruising and tattered thing of delight. | | Record Reviews
